Costa Mesa, CA  The L3 is hosting it's 11th annual Polar Express community event.

Annual Polar Express family event is set for Saturday, December 8th at 10:00 AM to 1 PM. This event, based on the popular family movie The Polar Express, was conceived as a way for The L3 Real Estate founders Larry Weichman and Matt Kanoudi to connect with their fellow Costa Mesa residents and say thank you for years of welcome support. Over 1,200 attendees are expected this year riding the Polar Express to Santa's village.

Once again The L3 Real Estate has joined forces with the Costa Mesa Fire Department’s annual toy drive program to raise awareness for the need for toys this holiday season. Participants in this year’s Polar Express event will be asked to bring an unwrapped gift or gift card valued at $10.00. Donations are not required to take part in the event but are greatly appreciated.

“We are thrilled to be a part of this endeavor,” said founder of L3, Larry Weichman. “We have a real compassion for kids in need not just in Costa Mesa, but throughout Orange County. The toy drive ensure's that these children get something to smile about on Christmas Day.” Weichman also added “We are also very honored to work alongside another organization we have long admired, the Costa Mesa Fire Department.”

The L3 Real Estate will host The Polar Express from 10:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Estancia Park in Costa Mesa, on the corner of Adams Ave & Mesa Verde Drive West, on the 2nd Saturday of December each year. They invite all area families to the event to so they can enjoy spending time with Santa Claus and his Elves. Also featured at this event will be many FREE activities including the train ride, pictures with Santa, letters to Santa, face painting, cookie decorating, view fire apparatus and much more. The Costa Mesa Fire Department will collect toys through December  20 at all fire stations, for more information contact Brenda Emrick at 714.327.7406 or bemrick@ci.costa-mesa.ca.us.
